WELCOME HOME VIETNAM VETERANS DAY

This event at the Redding Veterans Memorial Hall at 1605 Yuba Street is dedicated to Vietnam veterans. The day starts with a procession to the Igo Veterans Cemetery to honor those who have passed away followed by music, lunch, and displays (including a Huey helicopter). The Sons of Italy, Shasta Lodge #2453, has provided lunch since the inception of this project. We serve a pasta main dish with salad and bread. It is our honor to partner with Vietnam Veterans of America—Chapter #357 to make this a memorable day for veterans and their families. The public is invited to attend free of charge. The picture below is a prototype of the monument to be built at the Igo Veterans Cemetery in Northern California.
